Few salads can be complete without vinegar. There are countless vinaigrette recipes limited, it seems, only by your imagination multiplied by the varieties of vinegar flavors.

Balsamic Vinaigrette
One of my favorite recipes uses Balsamic vinegar. Balsamic vinegar adds a very distinct, mellow sweetness to a salad dressing. If you don’t have all the ingredients you could simply mix the balsamic vinegar with the olive oil. Try these balsamic recipes.
Italian Vinaigrette
Made with extra virgin olive oil and white wine vinegar this Italian vinaigrette features minced garlic, dried oregano and chopped parsley.
