For several years I was struggling with an ugly skin condition known as granuloma annulare. I am in sales and the red bumps on my hands and arms were a real turn off for my customers.
My doctor said no one knows what causes this condition and suggested I see a dermatologist for steroids. (the current treatment method)
I did not like that idea so began looking for a home remedy which might do the job. Last year I read an article about viruses and acid. The writer said that vinegar, which is mildly acidic, was often used to clear up viral infections.
As granuloma annulare is considered to be a viral infection I decided to give it a try.
I soaked my hands and feet in white vinegar twice a day for the next month and was amazed at my results.
After just one month the majority of the sores were gone. Since then I have been a strong advocate of vinegar in home remedies and have told many of my friends about it.

Thank you so much for your post Carol, it makes a great addition to my site.
I must admit I have never heard of granuloma annulare but am happy to hear you found vinegar to be an effective remedy. I would also love hearing from your friends about their experiences with vinegar. Perhaps they could attach a comment to your post here.
As I said on my Sensitive Skin Care page, ACV contains beta-carotene and pectin as well as many vitamins and minerals that are vital to healthy skin.
In addition, apple cider vinegar:
