Note: Apples are included in the list of non acidic foods. When we make apple cider vinegar we do not change the basic properties of apples which is still alkaline.
The nutrients contained in apples have an alkalizing effect on your body even though they are located in an acidic liquid.
To give you some perspective on this, think of your stomach's environment. Your stomach contains a very strong acid which is required to break down the food you eat.
When you eat alkaline foods they do not magically convert to acidic simply because they are now mixed with an acid. The same goes for apple cider vinegar.
